L2Pro India Crosses 20,000 Learners
L2Pro India, a free Intellectual Property e-learning Platform launched by Qualcomm through DPIIT and CIPAM, in collaboration with National Law University (NLU) Delhi. The platform is empowering students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and MSME leaders across India to protect their innovations.
About L2Pro India
L2Pro India offers a comprehensive self-paced online program covering multiple modules across basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. The curriculum simplifies complex concepts in patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, delivered through short videos, e-texts, quizzes, and assessments.
Upon successful completion, learners receive a joint e-certificate from Qualcomm, CIPAM-DPIIT, and NLU Delhi.
How it Began
The L2Pro platform was launched on 14 October 2019 at Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi, as a collaboration between Qualcomm, CIPAM-DPIIT, and NLU Delhi (CIIPC). The goal was to make IP education accessible to startups, MSMEs, and the academic community.
Qualcomm's Contribution
Crossing 20,000 learners is the result of years of effort by Qualcomm. The journey was built through consistency, patience, and long-term commitment to India's innovative minds.
The team worked to simplify Intellectual Property concepts and make them easy to apply. Global best practices were adapted for Indian students, startups, and MSMEs. The goal is to make IP education practical and accessible.
L2Pro India has contributed to stronger IP awareness among first-time innovators. Participants gain clarity on when to file and what to disclose. Small businesses are becoming more aware of the importance of brand protection. Students and researchers show greater confidence in applying IP basics during projects and research work. This growing awareness is helping reduce early-stage mistakes and confusion.
This progress is driven by Qualcomm's decades of global experience in patents, standards, and licensing. They are ensuring learning from everywhere from students between studies to MSME owners learning between work hours.

Expanding Reach with Turnip Innovations
To scale L2Pro India across the country, Qualcomm partnered with Turnip Innovations. This collaboration expanded access across campuses, startups, and innovation hubs nationwide.
The partnership makes intellectual property knowledge accessible to thousands of students, researchers, and first-time innovators.
