The course makes it easier for anyone interested in deep tech to understand how startups are built.

Dr. Rahul Kapoor, founder and director of Turnip Innovations, is the instructor and creator of the program. What’s Inside the Course?

The course is a free, self-paced program that can be completed in just about 90 minutes. Participants get a clear path to build a startup from ideation to fundraising, with a strong focus on intellectual property. Learners receive a certificate of completion jointly issued by Turnip and Qualcomm.

With 14 lessons and 2 interviews, the curriculum covers:

Market research and problem identification

It is suitable for students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts.

Why does this matter?

Many deep tech ideas come from students, researchers, and engineers, but they often lack the right guidance to move forward. This course is meant to fill that gap. By offering the course for free and keeping it easy to understand, Turnip and Qualcomm are making learning more accessible.

Turnip’s Effort Behind the Scenes

Launching this course took months of planning, coordination, and careful content development. The Turnip team worked closely with industry and academic inputs to ensure the course adds real value to learners. Partnering with Qualcomm strengthens the effort by bringing global industry support into deep tech learning.

Helping future Innovators

This Deep Tech Entrepreneurship course focuses on giving learners clear understanding, confidence, and the right direction. For many, it may be their first step toward learning how startups work and trusting that their ideas have value.
